Travel Nurse RN - PCU / Stepdown - $1,695 to $1,883 per week in Knoxville Region, TN

Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | Weekend rotation every 2 weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care/Progressive Care Unit setting
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding appropriately to changes in status
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using EPIC EMR
• Float to other units and/or campuses as needed based on census, within demonstrated competency areas
• Complete required pre-assignment modules and annual compliance requirements prior to and during assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of recent IMC/PCU/Stepdown experience; candidates with 1+ year of recent relevant unit experience may be considered
• ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers are not eligible
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible at full rate; candidates residing 90–99.9 miles away may be considered at a reduced rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-acuity progressive or stepdown care environment
• Familiarity with travel nursing compliance processes and pre-assignment onboarding requirements
• Strong adaptability and ability to float to qualified units as needed
