Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This role will involve providing high-quality nursing care in both the IMC Acute Med/Progressive Care unit and the IMC Thoracic unit.

Shift Details

Day/Evening shifts with a 12-hour schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Monday through Friday, with every other weekend required
Some holidays (including December 24th and 25th) will require availability, and requests off for these dates will not be approved

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the telemetry oncology, cardiac, and progressive care settings
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes
Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as necessary
Prepare patients for and assist with procedures in the thoracic unit

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin or compact RN license
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from AHA
Telemetry, oncology, cardiac, and progressive care experience is required
Experience with ventilators and transplant patients is necessary
Successful completion of a telemetry test prior to commencement of duties
