Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team, specializing in telemetry and progressive care units (PCU), direct observation units (DOU), intermediate care units (IMC), or stepdown units. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients with cardiac conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and assess patients' cardiac telemetry readings.
  • Provide direct patient care, including medication administration and IV therapy.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and health management.
  • Perform other nursing duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required, specifically from the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Cardiac telemetry and experience within PCU, DOU, IMC, or stepdown units are essential.
  • Experience using EPIC electronic health record system is required.
  • Must successfully pass a telemetry test before commencing duties.

Work Schedule

This position requires a commitment to work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, including Monday through Friday with every other weekend and some holidays.
