Tele/PCU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Telemetry/PCU Registered Nurse to join our team on night shifts. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on cardiac telemetry and progressive care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage patients' conditions in a telemetry unit.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Respond to patient needs and communicate effectively with families and patients.
• Float to other units within scope of practice as needed to meet facility demands.

Schedule

The position offers either a 3 or 4-day work week with 12-hour night shifts. Weekend shifts will be required every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, specifically in cardiac telemetry and PCU.
• Current Pennsylvania or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are required.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

Additional Information

• Ability to accommodate block scheduling is subject to manager approval based on unit needs.
• Travelers must be located more than 50 miles from the facility, as locals are not accepted.
• Please include all requests for time off at the time of submission, as approval depends on facility needs.
• Scrub color required: Navy Blue.
