PCU/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate PCU/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a progressive care unit, with a specialized focus on cardiac telemetry.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assess and monitor patients' vital signs and medical history.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management.
  • Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and safety guidelines.

Schedule Requirements

  • This position involves 3 night shifts per week, 12 hours each (19:00 - 07:00).
  • Weekends are required, with 6 weekend shifts scheduled over a 6-week period.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • A minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a telemetry or progressive care unit is preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Information

  • Floating between units may be required as needed.
  • This role requires a professional dress code, with solid navy blue scrubs for licensed personnel.
  • Free parking is available in designated employee parking areas.
