PCU/Tele Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled PCU/Tele Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. This position involves the care of patients in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with a telemetry focus.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality patient care in the Progressive Care Unit.
Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions as needed.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the best patient outcomes.
Educate patients and families on health management and self-care strategies.
Maintain accurate patient documentation and adhere to safety protocols.

Qualifications:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
Previous experience in a PCU or telemetry setting is a plus.
Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Work Schedule:

Shift: Night 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00)
Weekend Requirement: 6 weekend shifts every 6 weeks
Floating between units may be required.

Staffed beds: 379
Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care
Patient Ratios: Expected ratio is 1:4.
Dress Code: Solid navy blue uniforms or scrub attire for licensed nursing personnel.
Parking: Free parking available in designated areas.
