PCU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for a nursing role in a progressive care unit (PCU). This role will involve providing high-quality patient care during night shifts. The successful candidate will demonstrate clinical expertise, compassionate patient interactions, and the ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.

Shift Details

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
Note: No local candidates will be considered for this position

Key Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the progressive care unit.
Monitor patients' health status and respond promptly to changes in conditions.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
Participate in unit-based activities to optimize patient outcomes and enhance team performance.

Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
Experience in a progressive care unit or similar clinical setting preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
