Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a Stepdown Transplant Unit. This specialized unit cares for patients requiring advanced medical monitoring and complex care management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients with arterial line management.
• Administer peritoneal dialysis and LIP-managed vasoactive drip medications.
• Provide post-biopsy care and monitoring.
• Manage complex glucose levels for patients.

Schedule

This position offers flexible scheduling options, providing either 36 or 48 hours per week. The schedule includes:

• Day shifts: 4x12 hours from 07:00 - 19:00.
• Every other weekend required.
• Availability to work 2 out of 3 winter holidays.

Please note that block scheduling cannot be accommodated or guaranteed.

Requirements

• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Must adhere to floating policies within the institution.
• Epic experience is mandatory.
• Candidates may submit with a pending Virginia license.
• Ability to approve 40 hours for time off.

Duration

This position is for a duration of 13 weeks, with the possibility of extension based on performance and unit needs.
