Registered Nurse (RN) - Stepdown Float Pool

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Stepdown Float Pool. This position involves providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population across various designated units.

Shift Details

The position offers rotating shifts, including:

Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Shifts may be variable to meet operational needs. While we strive to accommodate preferred shifts, rotation may be required if necessary.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for:

Providing patient-centered nursing care in the stepdown unit and other areas as needed.
Effectively communicating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
Monitoring patient condition and responding to changes in status.
Participating in educational and orientation sessions as required.

Qualifications

Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in the specialty applied for.
Current and valid Ohio nursing license or Compact State license required.
Certification in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) is mandatory.
Must be willing to work at least every other holiday.
Completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment during orientation with an acceptable passing score.
