Job Description

  • Unit: 3C Medical

  • Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

  • Assignment Type: Travel / Local

  • Local Radius Rule: 50 miles

  • Start Date: October 6, 2026

  • Duration: 13 or 25 weeks

  • Firm End Date: March 27, 2027

  • Shift: 12-hour nights

  • Shift Time: 1900–0700

  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

  • Required Experience: Minimum 2 years of PCU experience; no exceptions

  • EMR Requirement: Recent Epic experience is required

  • License Requirement: Delaware or Compact RN license must be in hand

  • Float Requirement: Yes — must float to areas within the nurse's acuity and competency

  • Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend

  • Holiday Requirement: As required by the facility / assignment

  • Interview Process: Auto Offer — PCU List C

  • RTO Policy: Maximum 3 days of RTO; all RTO must be submitted with the initial submission. Additional requests after submission will not be considered or approved.

Submission Requirements

  • Delaware or Compact RN license in hand

  • RN license number and expiration date

  • Complete list of certifications with expiration dates

  • All requested RTO submitted at the time of initial submission

Important Candidate Notes

  • Recent Epic experience is mandatory.

  • Candidate must have at least 2 years of PCU experience.

  • Candidate must be willing to float to areas within their acuity and competency.

  • RTO must be finalized before submission; post-submission RTO requests will not be considered.

  • Assignment may be offered as either 13 weeks or 25 weeks, with a firm end date of 03/27/2027.
