Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) GOLDSBORO, North Carolina. This role involves providing competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards in a hospital setting. The nurse will coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process, with a focus on patients with complex health needs, during night shifts.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Nursing Diploma, or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited school of Nursing, current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina, and Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification (AHA or ARC). Additionally, a minimum of 2+ years of progressive care unit nursing experience or at least 1-year of nursing experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited school of Nursing.
  • Additional Information: The RN will be responsible for patient assessment, care planning, performing bedside point of care testing, and developing relationships with patients and their families to promote advocacy and discharge planning. The role includes participation in interdisciplinary collaboration, quality improvement activities, and adherence to healthcare standards and regulatory guidelines.
