Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift Information

Days (0700-1930), every other weekend required.

Minimum Years of Experience

1 year of experience required.

Certifications/Requirements

Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission.
Healthcare Provider Level BLS required.
AHA ACLS and NIHSS certifications required.
PCU and basic EKG experience preferred.
Verification of high school diploma or equivalent required due to CAP requirements for moderate complexity testing.

Department Description

The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) delivers direct care to acutely ill patients who are moderately stable but have an elevated risk for instability. The PCU emphasizes advanced monitoring, assessments, and interventions, leveraging specialized knowledge and experience to support patient care effectively.
