Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin.
Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2448
$500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS
Opportunity:
RN - Stepdown
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• Float to all inpatient units as needed
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours, which may be taken in hour increments; unit typically low censuses in 4-hour increments
• Work in a 44-bed intermediate cardiac stepdown unit with a fast-paced, high patient turnover environment
• Patient ratio typically 1:4
• Care for patients including post-op CABG/Valve, thoracotomy, vascular, arrhythmia, CHF, post-procedure cath, pacer, defib, ablations, acute CP/MI, and med/surg overflow such as detox, DKA, COPD exacerbation, respiratory failure, and Fem Pop Bypass
• Must have a minimum of 1 year of strong cardiac experience (Cardiac SDU/Intermediate Cardiac/Cardiac ICU) and 2 years of IMC/PCU/Tele experience
• Must have experience with Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro drips
• At least one prior travel assignment required
• 1 year of recent EPIC charting experience required
• Must be able to pass EKG test during first week of hire
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS, and ACLS (AHA or ARC)
• Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Scrub color: any color
