Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the IMC Acute Med/Progressive Care unit and the IMC Thoracic unit. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment.

Shift Details

  • Full-time, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
  • Monday through Friday, with every other weekend and some holidays required

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the telemetry oncology, cardiac, and progressive care settings.
  • Utilize advanced ventilation techniques and manage transplant patients effectively.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor and interpret telemetry readings to ensure patient safety and stability.

Qualifications

  • Current Wisconsin RN or compact RN license is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications from the American Heart Association are required.
  • Telemetry experience in oncology, cardiac, and IMC/Progressive Care/Stepdown units is required.
  • Experience with ventilators and organ transplants is essential.

Additional Requirements

Applicants must pass a telemetry assessment prior to starting the position. This is crucial to ensure that the candidate possesses the necessary skills to provide optimal care for patients in critical conditions.
