Registered Nurse (RN) - Stepdown

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Stepdown/PCU to provide quality patient care in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will implement nursing standards and integrate care planning for individual patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver nursing care in accordance with established standards and practices.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes and progress.
  • Supervise and guide support staff, including LNA staff, ensuring optimal patient care.
  • Participate in patient education and support activities.

Shift Information:

  • 12-hour shifts (Days)
  • 36-hour shift guarantee
  • Every other weekend and holidays required as needed

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of current Medical Surgical experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a Stepdown/PCU setting.
  • Experience with EPIC EMR is highly preferred.
  • Charge experience is required.
  • Traveler must possess a valid New Hampshire RN license or Compact License.
  • Active BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association are required.
  • Must have access to a vehicle for transportation.

Additional Notes:

  • No block scheduling is available for this position.
  • No on-call requirements for this position.
  • All requests for time off must be included in the initial profile submission.
  • Holiday work during specific times of the year is mandatory.
