HIGHLIGHTS:

• Level I Trauma and large hospital experience is required.
• The Resource Float Pool is a diversely skilled team that floats throughout our 2 campuses, BUMC-Tucson (Level I Trauma 625 beds) and BUMC-South (Level III Trauma 245 beds), to provide support where necessary.
• BUMC-Tucson Campus has the following Adult Health units with patients that range from Observation (2 units), Med Surg (4 units), to PCU and IMC (total 11 units).
• PCU travelers may be floated to any of these units during their contract.
• Occasionally, they may be floated to the ED or the PACU to take Adult Health patients with inpatient orders waiting on a bed on a unit.
• BUMC-South Campus is approximately a 10-minute drive from BUMC-Tucson.
• It has 4 Adult Health units (1 OBS, 2 PCU, and 1 MS) which they may float.
