Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Acute Care Medicine PCU unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients requiring acute medical treatment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment, managing a caseload of up to 4 patients.
  • Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and perform nursing procedures according to established protocols.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Document patient progress and care provided in the electronic medical record system (EPIC).
  • Educate patients and their families about care plans, medications, and health maintenance.

Qualifications

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Diverse clinical knowledge and skills relevant to acute care nursing practices.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records software, preferably EPIC.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction and team collaboration.

Work Schedule

This position is for Night Shift, requiring three 12-hour shifts per week (19:00 - 07:00). There is no block scheduling.

Additional Information

Registered Nurses are allowed the flexibility to take one holiday off per winter season, based on staffing needs.
