This healthcare organization is seeking experienced PCU nurses to join their team for multidisciplinary care at various trauma centers. The role involves providing patient care in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
Job Details
- Shift Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid state licenses for Iowa and Illinois; at least 1 year of previous stepdown experience; current BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications; drivers license; work history/resume; skills checklist completed within 1 year; license verification; copy of required certifications; supervisory references at submission; at least 1 travel contract completed preferred.
- Additional Information: The unit maintains a 1:7 patient ratio. The assignment requires experience with chest tubes, fem stops, trachs, CBIs, drains, central lines, and medication titration including amiodarone, cardizem, nitro, insulin, heparin, dopamine, dobutamine, isuprel, milrinone, and argatroban. The start date is 09/21/2026 with a scheduled end date of 12/21/2026.
