GHG Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Rockford, Illinois.

Opportunity:
RN - Intermediate Care Unit
Job Details:
• Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, procedures, standards of care, and State laws/practice act
• Document according to standards of care
• Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient plans of care as prescribed by physician and/or hospital policy, including patient and family instruction
• Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities, including shared governance
• Utilize clinical expertise to provide guidance to other units and departments in support of the patient's longitudinal plan of care
• Apply critical thinking in regards to patient safety and patient experience, escalating appropriately through the chain of command
• Current Illinois (IL) nursing license required
• Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program; education verification required
• Required certifications: CPR, ACLS, NIHSS
