Job Details
- Position Description: This role assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents nursing care in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing practice standards. Responsibilities include reviewing patients' history, physical assessments, diagnostics, laboratory data, and developing comprehensive care plans. The RN provides direct patient care, delegates activities appropriately, and ensures effective communication among care team members. The position involves documentation, participation in research activities, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
- Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice, temporary/interim RN license in state of practice, or compact RN licensure; BLS certification; experience in acute care hospital settings; ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, stretch frequently; ability to lift up to 75 pounds; excellent communication skills.
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Weekend and holiday requirements float per facility guidelines; clinical competencies must be maintained through annual validations. Prior acute care experience within the past 12 months is required for travel positions.
