The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse position is located in Tucson, Arizona. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients within the PCU, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards. The nurse is accountable for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care through specialized knowledge, clinical judgment, and effective communication.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid registered nurse license in the state of practice; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; at least 1 year of clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in nursing; professional certification in relevant specialty areas; additional related education or experience
  • Additional Information: The role requires competence in performing assessments, formulating care plans, and providing holistic patient care. The RN will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, document patient care accurately, and participate in unit or facility leadership activities as applicable.
