Job Summary:
Under general supervision, provides nursing care in a hospital to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex. Responsibilities include patient care, documentation, assisting physicians, monitoring physiological data, administering medication, and interacting with patients and families regarding care plans and hospital procedures. Delegation of tasks to support staff and referrals to appropriate personnel are also part of the role.

Required Qualifications:
• 1 year of experience
• Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures
• Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors
• Some computer skills

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program

Required Certifications & Licensure:
• Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC)
• Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association
