  • Position Description: The role involves caring for patients with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, traumatic fractures, complex trauma, respiratory issues, reconstructive surgeries, and advanced diabetic management. The unit features 24 private beds, a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio, and advanced monitoring capabilities. It serves as a vital component of a Level 1 Trauma Center focusing on high-acuity patients requiring 24-hour hemodynamic monitoring.
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications: BLS, ACLS; Education: RN license; Experience: 2 years of related experience; Location: West Virginia; - Ability to work dayshift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Ability to perform EKG interpretation; experience with titration of drips such as cardizem, labetalol, or amiodarone.
  • Additional Information: Must submit a valid drivers license outside 50 miles of the facility. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in an acute or step-down unit, with the ability to adapt to a high-paced environment. Floating may be required on a rotational basis, including placement into travel rotation. All submittals must include an unexpired copy of the candidate's drivers license.
