Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in a healthcare facility. The role involves providing specialized nursing care to adult and geriatric patients, utilizing clinical expertise and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes during night shifts.
Job Details
- Position Description: The RN will deliver patient-centered care in a PCU setting, managing patients with a variety of diagnoses including cardiac, respiratory, and post-procedural cases.
- Required Qualifications: Valid compact license in hand, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certifications, 0 years of experience minimum, and experience with electronic charting systems (Epic).
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Candidates must have current work references and recent clinical experience within the last 6 months. Coverage may require floating between nearby facilities. Candidates must commit to working three of the five designated holidays.
