Description
As a Registered Nurse in the Surgical Stepdown unit, you will provide specialized care to patients recovering from urologic and bariatric surgeries. You’ll work in a collaborative environment, ensuring patient safety and comfort while managing a variety of post-surgical conditions. The role includes monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Requirements
  • TB documentation
  • Immunity status of Hep B, MMR, & Varicella (obtained by a titer) or proof of vaccination series completion
  • Epic EMR system experience preferred
  • TDaP vaccine, Influenza vaccine or exemption request during flu season
  • KS or Multistate license required
  • AHA BLS required at time of submission
  • 1-year progressive care/step down experience required
