The RN will utilize clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat patient responses to health conditions, supporting national clinical trials and achieving exceptional patient outcomes.

• Required Qualifications: Valid Michigan nursing license; minimum 1 year of step-down experience; proficiency in cardiac care; experience with EKG interpretation; travel experience; willingness to float to similar units; certifications in ACLS and BLS; physical copies of certifications if listed; ability to start on 11/02/2026, with end date of 02/01/2027.
• Preferred Qualifications: Skills checklist completed within one year; experience in positions involving complex cardiac procedures including PTCA, stents, TAVR, MitraClip, and bi-ventricular pacemakers; familiarity with national clinical trials.
• Additional Information: The nurse must comply with a strict attendance policy beginning 6/1/2024, which may result in termination for unauthenticated absences or tardiness exceeding three instances. The role involves caring for approximately 4000 cardiology patients annually, including post-operative open heart surgery patients, heart failure patients, and electrophysiology study patients.
