Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Richmond, Virginia.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Shift:Nights, 3x12s — 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
  • EMR:Epic — required
  • Floating:Yes — within scope of practice as needed
  • Experience:2 years
  • Weekend:Required — approximately 10 weekend shifts per contract
  • Certifications:BLS required
  • Unit:30-bed Acute Care Medicine PCU with approximately a 1:4 patient ratio; adult/geriatric population
  • Key Skills:Telemetry, MS/Tele, HFNC, chest tubes, feeding tubes, PICC/central line care, IV insulin, blood products, pre/post-hemodialysis care, oxygen/non-invasive airway management, wound care, and rapid response/code team support
  • Call:None
  • License:Virginia or Compact RN license must be in hand at submission
  • Radius Rule:None — locals accepted at the same base rate
  • RTO: Must be submitted upfront; no time off during the first week; up to one winter holiday off
