Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our team in the Acute Neuroscience Unit. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to provide high-quality patient care.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the neuroscience unit.
• Monitor patient progress and deliver critical assessments.
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Document all patient interactions and care in accordance with established protocols.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
• Adhere to safety and infection control policies.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Experience in a progressive care unit (PCU) is preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, specifically EPIC.
• Willingness to work every other weekend and two holidays per contract.

Work Schedule

This position requires working night shifts, three times a week for 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00. Block schedules are not available.

Additional Information
