PCU/Tele Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled PCU/Tele Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position involves floating between units as needed and requires working weekends, with 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Telemetry.
Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding to changes in status promptly.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Maintain a standard patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4, ensuring safe and efficient care.
Document patient care activities accurately in accordance with established protocols.

Shift Information

This position requires 3 twelve-hour night shifts (19:00 - 07:00) with a commitment to weekend shifts as mentioned above. Block scheduling is not required.

Facilities and Requirements

The facility is a Level II Trauma Center with a total of 379 staffed beds. The dress code for licensed nursing personnel includes solid navy blue uniforms or scrub attire, while print tops are not permitted except in specific pediatric units.

Parking and Uniform Guidelines

Free parking is available in designated Employee/Visitor areas. Uniform attire must comply with department dress code standards for both licensed and unlicensed personnel.

Additional Information

48-hour work week authorized.
No on-call responsibilities are required for this position.
