Job Details

  • Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, scheduled in 6-week cycles with scheduling preferences accommodated
  • Required Qualifications: 2 years of strong cardiac or Progressive Care Unit experience, active BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications, and licensure to practice in Washington state
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac rhythm interpretation, epidurals, chest tubes, and cardiac drip management (e.g., nitro, heparin, Amiodarone, Cardizem, dopamine, dobutamine)
  • Float: Float rotation may be required; traveler are first to float on Med/Surg and ICU overflow assignments
  • Additional Information: Unit cares for acuity-adaptable patients including MI, post-operative open-heart surgery, arrhythmias, cardiac catheterization, and vascular procedures. Patient ratios are typically 1:3-4. Orientation involves 12-hour NEO2 shifts and the schedule is in six-week cycles with no guaranteed set schedule. No on-call requirement; optional extra shifts available.
