Shift: 12-hour Day and Night Shift both available

Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks with the possibility of extension)

Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) to join a leading healthcare facility in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will have experience caring for patients requiring close monitoring, including telemetry and step-down care, while delivering exceptional patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, monitor, and care for patients in the Progressive Care Unit.
  • Interpret cardiac telemetry and respond to changes in patient condition.
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, and blood products as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • Minimum 1 year of PCU/Acute Care experience
  • BLS Certification (Required)
  • ACLS Certification (Required)
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
  • COVID card (Medical/Religious exemptions are accepted)
