Pulse Healthcare Services is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Columbus, Ohio.
**PCU/Step Down RN – Nights** Location: Columbus, OH Shift: Nights | 3x12s | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs/week Block Schedule: No **Requirements:** * 1 year of PCU/Step Down experience * 1st-time travelers accepted * BLS & ACLS required * Previous telemetry experience * Experience with IV insulin protocols and insulin drips * Strong cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation skills * Float required within OSU * Every other weekend (Friday & Saturday nights) * Candidates with only 1 year of experience will not receive auto offers. Their profiles will need to be reviewed by the manager. **Patient Population:** * Patients with active oncology diagnosis/treatment including both solid tumor and hematology * Patients admitted for oncology workup or with a history of cancer who are admitted for other reasons including surgical procedures, COPD, sepsis, abnormal labs, pneumonia, etc. * Patients with no oncology diagnosis but admitted for reasons listed above
