Registered Nurse (RN)

Role Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide direct patient care in a variety of settings, ensuring high standards of clinical practice and patient safety. The RN is responsible for developing patient care plans and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' health status.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and react appropriately to changes in condition.
  • Educate patients and their families about health management and treatment plans.
  • Document patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Previous clinical experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications may be necessary based on specialty.
