Job Summary
Step Down Unit RN General Healthcare Facility, available in a clinical environment requiring experienced registered nurses. This role involves providing care in a Step Down Unit with a focus on patient monitoring and recovery, adapting to unit needs such as Progressive Care or Medical-Surgical Telemetry. The position offers a nights shift schedule and is ideal for RNs with acute care experience seeking a temporary assignment.

Job Details

• Position Description: EOW; EOH; 2 years PCU / Med-Surg Telemetry Acute Care experience; traveler will be placed on a unit where the greatest need is whether it is a PCU or Med/Surg/Tele unit based on the traveler's skills; will accept a Medical-Surgical or Step Down RN - same credentialing for both skills - RN Step Down (Progressive Care Unit) specialty exam and skills must be done; travel experience, electronic medical record system familiarity, will need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, minimum of 1 year experience in a Step Down, Progressive Care, or Medical-Surgical Telemetry setting, supporting required certifications and credentials.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The traveler will be placed on a unit where the greatest need is whether it is a PCU or Med-Surg/Telemetry unit. Ability to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed is required. Candidates must complete RN specialty exam and skills assessment related to Step Down care.
