Job Requirements

  • Active RN license in hand at time of submission
  • Minimum 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience
  • At least 1 year of recent PCU experience required
  • Current experience must be active and consistent within the last 12 months
  • BLS and ACLS required
  • NIHSS preferred
  • Experience with Epic charting required
  • Strong telemetry nursing and dysrhythmia interpretation skills
  • Travel nursing experience required
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and variable weekends as needed

Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, compassionate patient care to acute leukemia and hematology patients in a Progressive Care Unit setting
  • Monitor telemetry, identify changes in patient condition, and respond with confidence and urgency
  • Administer blood products, IV antibiotics, electrolytes, and other ordered therapies
  • Perform and manage central line, PICC line, and peripheral IV care
  • Support infection prevention, fall prevention, and patient safety initiatives throughout the unit
  • Collaborate with rapid response teams, physicians, and interdisciplinary support services as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in Epic
  • Contribute to a patient-centered, high-performing healthcare team
