Job Summary
Step Down Cardiac/Television Unit Nurse Days 36 Hours Weekly Locally based in the healthcare organizations facility. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac and other complex diagnoses. The position requires a compassionate and detail-oriented RN to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

  • Position Description: Step Down Cardiac/Television Registered Nurse Days 36 hours per week, including every other weekend. The assignment begins on 09/28/2026 and lasts for 12 weeks.
  • Required Qualifications: Active MD or Compact State RN License, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, CPI certifications, and 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (08:00-20:30), minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Must be comfortable floating within scope to like/lower acuity units as needed.
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS required.
  • Patient Care Details: Managing adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including CHF, MI, post-cardiac catheter procedures, TAVR, CVA, COPD, DM, and respiratory failure.
  • Charting System: EPIC.
  • Experience and Skills: Prior experience with cardiac telemetry, managing ports, Arterial line care, IV therapies, and emergency response is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Submission Requirements: Candidates must be able to accept the assignment without an interview and adhere to compliance deadlines.
