- Assumes charge responsibility after orientation, delegates appropriately, and ensures safety and quality patient outcomes.
- Candidates should demonstrate professional development through ongoing education and self-study.
- Additional responsibilities: maintaining communication across care teams, managing supplies and documentation, supporting unit team activities, and promoting a safe, efficient work environment.
