Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or compact license
• At least 1 year of RN experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
• Strong telemetry interpretation skills and comfort with stepdown-level patient care
• Ability to work night shifts in a high-acuity, fast-moving acute care environment
• Experience with dysrhythmia recognition preferred
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized plans of care
• Monitor telemetry and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications safely and in accordance with nursing standards
• Care for patients with cardiac, respiratory, renal, stroke/TIA, and post-op needs
• Manage therapies such as oxygen support, drips, chest tubes, drains, and wound vacs
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and families while supporting safe discharge planning
• Maintain a compassionate, patient-centered approach in a busy clinical setting
