Job Requirements

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of PCU/Telemetry nursing experience
• ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Recent Epic charting experience within the last 12 months required
• Recent phlebotomy experience within the last 12 months required
• Ability to float as needed in a hospital setting
• Confident in drawing blood and starting/managing IVs
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program through ACEN or CCNE
• Solid black scrubs required
• Strong communication, adaptability, and time-management skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for cardiac step-down, telemetry, and stroke overflow patients
• Monitor patient status, assess changes, and respond promptly to clinical needs in a high-acuity environment
• Administer medications, perform treatments, and support individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Accurately document patient care in Epic electronic health records and maintain clear communication with the care team
• Draw labs, perform phlebotomy, and manage IV access as needed
• Support safe patient flow while maintaining strong attention to detail and clinical excellence
• Adapt to floating assignments and contribute to a positive, team-oriented nursing culture
• Deliver compassionate bedside care that supports excellent patient outcomes
