Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse in Sioux City, Iowa. This position involves providing high-quality patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team in a Level 3 Trauma Center. The role requires adaptability to float across inpatient and emergency department settings, ensuring patient safety and clinical excellence.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting October 26, 2026, and ending January 25, 2027.
• Required Qualifications: Active Iowa or compact state nursing license, BLS (American Heart Association preferred), ACLS (American Heart Association preferred), NIHSS Certification, Driver's License, 1+ year of relevant experience, and experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with inpatient and emergency department settings, ability to float across disciplines within the same discipline, and proficiency in EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Additional Information: Candidates must work in a high-acuity environment, with patient ratios of 1:4 (potentially 1:5), and be able to float to all inpatient units and the emergency department. Orientation is scheduled for 10/26 and 11/9, and the role includes working during winter holidays with limited time off requests.
