Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) in a healthcare setting responsible for delivering high-quality patient care. The RN supervises direct care staff and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. The role emphasizes patient safety, safety awareness, and team collaboration to improve patient outcomes during night shifts.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours shifts, minimum 36 hours per week, from 10/05/2026 to 01/04/2027.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid BLS Certification prior to first shift; ACLS Certification required prior to first shift (CIRH only); a minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience; Education or Degree requirements as per the credentialing standards; location requirements consistent with the healthcare providers standards; 0 years minimum experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission; contributes to patient and family education and discharge planning; ensures accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and responses; participates in patient rehabilitation programs; provides clear communication for continuity of care; supervises ancillary staff, delegates appropriately, and maintains safety and infection control standards. Participates in team activities to foster a positive work environment and pursues ongoing professional development. Assumes charge responsibilities following orientation and prioritizes patient care activities efficiently.
