Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This role is ideal for experienced RNs looking to provide high-quality care in a critical care environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the PCU, ensuring the highest standards of nursing practice.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data and dysrhythmias.
• Manage and respond to patient needs with appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Float to other units of equivalent or lower acuity as necessary, based on census.
• Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the functional efficiency of the unit.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a PCU, DOU, IMC, or stepdown unit.
• Proven experience with telemetry, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
• Completion of at least one travel assignment preferred.
• Ability to work night shifts (3x12 hours).
• Willingness to work required weekend shifts (10 shifts per contract).
• Flu vaccine required for all employees.

Additional Information

- Scrubs are not provided; required colors are navy blue and white.
- Charting system utilized is Cerner.
