Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a complex medical unit specializing in acute care. This position offers opportunities for both first-time travelers and experienced professionals.

Key Details

Start Dates: November 16th and November 30th
Ratios: Vary according to need, typically 1:6
Shift: Night shifts, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00)
Block Schedule: Available, attempts will be made to accommodate based on patient and unit needs

Qualifications

Years of Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in a comparable acuity hospital
Certifications Required: Active BLS certification
License: Must possess an active unencumbered RN license in Tennessee (or multi-state)
Special Requirements: Cerner EMR experience is mandatory

Work Schedule & Time Off

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required
On-Call Requirement: Not required
Time Off Restrictions: Entire weeks during the holidays will not be approved; individual dates are negotiable depending on staffing needs

Other Requirements

Candidates must successfully pass a basic dysrhythmia interpretation test and a medication test during orientation.
