Job Details
- Position Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by ensuring the nursing care plan is followed. The RN supervises Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees.
- Certifications, Education Requirements, and Experience: BLS Certification required prior to first shift; ACLS required prior to first shift (CIRH only); minimum two (2) years bedside clinical experience required; specialty is Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
- Schedule: Rotating shift, 12 hours shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Performs a nursing assessment on all patients within 8 hours of admission, develops individualized care plans, initiates discharge planning from the day of admission, and participates in team-building activities to promote a positive work environment. Provides direction and supervision of ancillary nursing personnel, ensuring safe patient care and compliance with hospital policies.
