Intermediate Care Registered Nurse (IMC RN)

We are seeking experienced Intermediate Care Registered Nurses to provide excellent patient care and support during the holiday season. The ideal candidates will have a solid background in step-down or progressive care units and be committed to delivering high-quality healthcare.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care Unit (IMC).
Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in condition.
Implement care plans as per nursing protocols and physician orders.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Float to telemetry and medical-surgical units as needed.
Participate in the facility's weekend coverage schedule based on operational needs.

Qualifications:

Current nursing license and relevant certifications: ACLS and BLS are required.
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a travel assignment.
Successful completion of the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam, achieving a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms.
Experience in Progressive Care Units (PCU), Intermediate Care (IMC), or Stepdown nursing.
Ability to work every other weekend and float as necessary.

Work Schedule:

This position requires 3x12-hour shifts during the day, from 06:45 to 19:15.

Additional Requirements:

All employees must have the influenza vaccine.
