Job Summary
Step Down Unit Registered Nurse (RN) The healthcare provider located in Morristown is seeking an experienced RN to join the team on a night shift schedule. This position involves utilizing the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, with a focus on evidenced-based practices within a healing and collaborative environment.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred; BLS and ACLS certifications required; at least 1 year of intermediate care or step-down nursing experience; relevant skills include patient assessment, intermediate care nursing, step-down nursing, communication, and computer skills.
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours, minimum of 36 hours per week, working every third weekend and one summer holiday. Floating as needed.
- Additional Information: The candidate will collaborate with all members of the healthcare team in a shared governance model, promoting evidenced-based care in a patient-focused environment.
