Job Summary:
Step Down Nurse (Registered Nurse) Location: Morristown/Goryeb. This position involves providing specialized nursing care within the intermediate care and step-down unit, utilizing evidence-based practices to promote patient recovery and safety. The role emphasizes collaboration, professionalism, and excellent communication skills to support patients and their families.

Job Details:

• Position Description: Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate the plan of care for patients served. Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the healthcare team with a focus on promoting evidenced-based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families. Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity, and Excellence) in every aspect of their job.
• Schedule: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM, Nights, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, including every third weekend and one summer holiday. Floating as needed.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred); BLS certification required; ACLS certification required; Relevant experience in intermediate care or step-down nursing for at least 1 year.
