  • Shift Pattern: Every other weekend and every other holiday
  • Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800 - $1,890

Job Requirements

  • Active RN license in the state of practice or compact license
  • Minimum 1 year of registered nurse experience required; 2 years preferred
  • Acute care hospital experience preferred
  • BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required
  • Dysrhythmia exam required
  • Travel nursing experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic float pool environment
  • Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients in PCU and telemetry settings
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care
  • Monitor cardiac rhythms, recognize changes in condition, and respond quickly to patient needs
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards and protocols
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
  • Support patients and families through education, communication, and advocacy
  • Float between acuity levels as assigned based on daily staffing needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety at all times
