Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This role requires flexibility in scheduling, with no specific schedule requests accommodated.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in accordance with established protocols within the PCU.
• Participate in assessment, treatment planning, and implementation of care strategies for patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Float within the facility as needed, adhering to the scope of practice.

Schedule Details

• Weekend availability required: every other weekend.
• Night shifts: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) with a flexible schedule based on facility needs.
• No block scheduling available.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required; first-time travelers are accepted.

Holiday Expectations

The traveler is expected to work major holidays as outlined below:

• One major holiday during the assignment period: required to work.
• Two major holidays during the assignment period: required to work both.
• Three major holidays during the assignment period: required to work two of the holidays.

Major holidays include:

• Memorial Day
• Independence Day
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving/Black Friday
• Christmas Eve/Christmas Day
• New Year's Eve/New Year's Day

Compliance Requirements

Full compliance with all necessary documentation is required to start on time. Non-compliance may result in a pushback of two weeks due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule.

Orientation Details

Number of non-billable orientation hours is determined by contract length (e.g., 8 hours for an 8-week assignment; 10 hours for a 10-week assignment).

Additional Information

Locals are accepted at the same rate. Please note that the offer is contingent upon meeting clinical requirements and facility needs.
