Job Details

  • Position Description: Travel RN for a PCU (Progressive Care Unit) working night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 10/05/2026 and ending 01/04/2027.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license or compact license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and 1 year of acute care hospital Stepdown/PCU experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Solid Organ Transplant (kidney, liver, or pancreas), modalities of higher oxygen delivery or respiratory support (Vapotherm, Bipap, CPAP), chest tube management, tracheostomy care, NG/Dobhoff management, insulin drips management, and strong critical thinking skills.
  • Responsibilities: Manage patient care for transplant and critically ill patients, perform wound/drian care, lab draws, transfusions, and use advanced monitoring and medical equipment. Handle patient ratios of 1:3-4, flexing to 1:5 or 1:6 when needed.
  • Additional Information: Candidate must be adaptable, reliable, a team player, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Competency in various procedural skills and knowledge of infection prevention for immunocompromised patients are essential.
